My journey into women’s and maternal wellness began with motherhood itself. I’m a mother of two, and between both of my children, I breastfed for more than six years. Through that journey, I experienced firsthand how much a woman’s body changes and how easily mothers can forget to care for themselves while caring for everyone else.
My work first began as an artisan, creating gentle botanical skincare for babies and children with sensitive and eczema-prone skin. As my knowledge of ingredients, formulation and skin health grew, that passion became Rare Botanicals, extending care to adults with sensitive and eczema-prone skin too.
Motherhood then brought me deeper into maternal wellness. I trained as a specialised prenatal and postnatal therapist because I wanted to understand the changing maternal body properly and simply how to massage it, but why positioning, pressure and the right techniques matter throughout pregnancy and recovery.
From there, I became a Certified Lactation Counsellor, combining my own breastfeeding experience with professional knowledge to better support mothers through breastfeeding, breast discomfort and postpartum changes.
I later trained as an IAIM (International Association of Infant Massage) Infant Massage Instructor, allowing me to support both mothers and fathers in nurturing touch, bonding and building confidence in caring for their babies.
Over time, I also realised that motherhood is never only physical. Emotional wellbeing matters too. That led me to train in NLP and Hypnotherapy, helping me better understand emotional regulation, mindset and the connection between our thoughts, emotions and physical wellbeing — something that has also supported my own personal growth.
Today, these experiences come together through Rare Botanicals and KindTouch. KindTouch was created from my belief that breast and maternal care should not begin only when something feels wrong. It can be part of everyday self-care helping women understand, care for and reconnect with their bodies through pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding and beyond.
Everything I do comes back to one simple intention:
To care for the woman while she is busy caring for everyone else.
Gentle, specialised bodywork to support comfort, relaxation and recovery throughout pregnancy and postpartum.
Practical guidance for breastfeeding, breast comfort and gentle lymphatic care, while helping mothers better understand the changes happening in their bodies.
Through infant massage education, I support both mothers and fathers in building confidence with nurturing touch and strengthening connection with their babies.
Using elements of NLP and hypnotherapy, I support mothers with relaxation, emotional regulation and creating a calmer, more grounded space within themselves.
